VDH LTCF Outbreaks Dataset Update
VDH LTCF Outbreaks dataset released today has some interesting differences from . This post is only focusing on novel differences, and not differences in numbers reported by facilities. Those are important to track, but also should be expected to fluctuate as data is validated, tracked, and clarified over time.
It is extremely discerning to see Canterbury Health and Rehab, the site of one of the largest outbreaks/deaths in the country, currently having a new outbreak. Of equal interest, it is incredibly odd that the Mayfair House Assisted Living outbreak, documented by VDH as having started in , to be omitted from today’s dataset.
